Huge fan of this whole series, gives me a lot of inspiration! And thanks for all the shoutouts here :)

That’s a really good call! Definitely worth testing. Void pulse’s ping and consuming’s interaction with carrion collector are tough to miss out on, but having a 1 mana sac outlet would be super nice for the rite turns, and maybe you can squeeze in a vellumscry this way.

I think Blood of Air is grossly overrated. In most situations you would rather play a Sandswirl Reader, because of the tempo + infinite value. Blood of Air is never a tempo positive play, it just allows your opponent a free turn to set up their next big threat.
In most decks I think it is a necessary evil to run at least two, even if I replace…[Read more]

An artifact combo Sajj deck I blazed through gold division with. It feels really strong by virtue of doing “vet things”, and if the game goes long, you have a lot of high damage combos.
Early GameStart on […]

The gameplan here is simple. We spend the early turns casting as many Lurking Fear effects as we can draw. Then we follow up with all manner of 4 mana dying wish minions, which are almost certainly discounted to […]

Great write up! Thanks for that :)

Been thinking about this deck a lot. Looks super sweet. Have you considered Aphotic Drain as a sort off middle ground between Rebirth and Void Pulse? Could potentially free up three card slots for something else.

I really like Consuming Rebirth, using it often not on Carrion but on Gnasher or Caco because I need the removal and BBS is not up. It is a little bit expensive but it doesn’t kill the minion.
Aphotic could be another great sac and heal at the same time though Void Pulse is beside Desolator the only other answer to artifacts.

Great post:)
Btw – the first attempt of nemeton ever is similar to yours and got me to high diamond almost every season and still is.

I played a similar deck a while back. I love your Shiro and Rocky inclusions! How is War Surge working out compared to Fighting Spirit? And do you find yourself missing BTA?

When I played the triple rite version I ran Void Hunter and Nightmare Operant; cheaper minions let me turbo through the deck faster and the 2 heath isn’t much of a liability when it turns into 6. Thoughts?

Visions is a very fun one of. More often than not, playing it onto an even board state will win you the game.

BoA is a bad card. Its good at helping you lose more slowly and bailing you out for 1 turn if you are a noob.

The “white weenie” of Duelyst, this deck goes under every deck in the format. Fealty lets you dump your hand with impunity, and Congregation closes out the game. This deck is so linear a guide almost seems […]

This is the deck you have been waiting for. The reintroduction of Aggro, since apparently Aggro Reva isn’t cool any more and nobody wants to play Aggro Cassyva. Aggro […] -

It’s no secret that Vetruvian has the highest diversity of good decks right now. Golems give a strong early game package which can be played in any deck, and sandswirl a strong tempo/removal tool. After of these […]

Amazing decklist. However, why the mono? Not sure why you run mono when you’ll just be replacing your relevant cards and all those random vet cards won’t neccesarily help with you win condition.

Was bored so decided to play a few games with this list, was wondering why I couldn’t find BoA to kill that backlined Shadowdnacer/Sworn Avenger/Ki Beholder, looked at the decklist again, no BoA

This deck is a hybrid of traditional Vetruvian midrange and a combo deck. It focuses on flooding the board early with dervishes, and casting all three of Scion’s wishes. Once completed, this unlocks the combo of […]

I noticed that in several of your latest Vet decks you cut BoA nowadays. What is your thinking behind that? In this list I can see Ankh+BBS as a kind of replacement though.
