FAQs

Duelspot is a deck database website. The purpose of this website is to help players share and find decks. Please take a look at the information below. If you have any questions, fill out the form found on this page.

In order to submit a deck you need to register on the website. On the main menu next to Decks is a Submit button. Click this button and fill in the information. The Deck List Image should be an image address including http:// or https://. You would have to use a deck building website like decklyst.vercel.app to create the Deck List Image.
Duelspot is not a deckbuilding website. There are already a couple of great websites for that such as decklyst.vercel.app. You can export the deck as a horizontal image to IMGR and use the link as the Deck List Image when submitting your deck. There are no plans to add a deck builder at this time.
Decks on Duelspot can have up to 3 highlighted cards. A highlighted card is card that the deck is based off or a card that plays a crucial role in the deck. Setting highlighted cards allows the website to make decks filterable and searchable by inputting specific cards on search fields.

On the search field where it says Search media items, if the card you are trying to find is more than one word, try adding a dash instead of spaces between words. This goes for any instance where you are trying to search for a card (for example, in the Cards page or Decks page).

You just have to pick the styles from the dropdown menu. For example, selecting the style Heading 1 will change the size, color, and add an icon next to your text. After submitting your deck, make sure to view it so you can make sure it looks the way you want it to.

On a deck page, there is a table of contents found on the sidebar on the right (under your profile image). This is generated automatically by selecting Heading 1, Heading 2, or Heading 3 styles.

You can view this post to see what formatting options are available.

First of all, you have to be logged in to submit, edit, or delete a deck. To edit your deck, simply view your deck and then click the blue Edit Deck button at the top right.

To delete your deck, go to your profile by clicking on your profile image on the left sidebar (or on the bottom left if on mobile). Click on the My Decks option. You will go to a page with all the decks you submitted. Click on Edit (next to Deck Submissions). This page will have a list of all your decks with a trash icon next to them for deleting your deck.

Drafts are in the same location where you delete decks. Simply click on Drafts instead of Published when you are on that page.

On the Decks page there is a search box on the top right. You can enter the name of a card there and it should filter the page for you. Click on it to see its contents as well as any similar decks (if any).

On Cards page there is a search box on the top right. You can enter the name of a card there and it should filter the page for you. Click on the card to take you to its info page. This particular page will have decks that have this card set as a highlighted card (if no decks have it set as a highlighted card, then it will not show any decks).

Thanks to a a couple of players like RHacker93 and Niklaren, we now have an Articles section on the website where they post about meta decks and power rankings.

If you have a really good idea and it is not too difficult to implement, then I will try my best to get it to work. I am open to suggestions.

Please fill out the form found on this page. Bugs will be fixed as soon as possible.
