After a long and dark climb.
So many lives have lost and so many fluffies died I can finally say that I made it and this deck got to s rank, which makes it official at some way.
Without too many introductions let’s deep in.
Things to remember –
1. This is not an aggro deck, it based on a few combos that you might need to play on conjunction to one another in order to win. So hand needs to be very carefully replaced due to the matchup and the deck knowledge.
2. Positioning is key, another version even more positional heavy is with shiro instead of piggy which makes it a whole lot harder but at the same time safer.
3.always have a plan B, and thing ahead. I got the idea for the deck from chess in which there is no favorite pieces, you use everything to the best of your ability.
4. This is fun, if you don’t have fun – move over.
We’ve got a few cards to lead in either piggy or bandit, piggy is more defensive in that sense since you will replace him if he is still alive. Bandit will give you some spells and distrupt the opponent it it is getting a backstab or more.
Try to fish for draw engines since we’ve got combos to work for.
Early to mid game:
Poison panda – your absolute mvp in this deck (battle panddo + Deathstrike seal + gutetsu) it kills everything that it damage and leaves a body that still kills everything.
The best board clear in the game.
Depending on your match you’ll fish for either the pieces or zendo against a solo decks. You want to have either bakezori or jammer in hand too for the draw that might need to fish for either more poison pandas or buffs + zendo.
Ki beholder and bakezori will help you bait removal, draw and control a little until you find your pieces.
Mid to late game:
At that point the enemy should have about 14-17 hp and it is about to set for lethal.
You might want to have a zendo, a painter, a piggy and a few movements and ke. You drop zendo and let the enemy hits into whatever. Of zendo is removed you wait for painter and wait for another zendo.
One of these zendo will hold usually.
This zendo then must dragon seal or jux + ke into face for about 14-16 dmg.
Late game – try not to get there, of you do – just cycle throw poison panda painter and bakezori, hit face, bbs, piggy, zendo again etc. They usually die from it.
Closing words – this deck is amazing, took me a while to get to this setting, gameplay is adaptive and challenging, nothing is a no brainer. Every move you make might get countered which make the win even sweeter.
This is a good gud deck by definition so if you like Songhai and want to work on your fundementals or just want a challenging run this might be the one for you.

Kaleos for life!
One of the better anti-zir’an and anti-titan lists from the previous meta, this list aims to explore a different approach to the midrange style of songhai.
Sibon won 4th place with this deck in the playoffs of Meltdown League Season 2.
my first draft on the reva scarzig deck, a real fun deck that holds up well against most of the meta decks due to immense control tools and the scarzig steamroll
